Charles F. Jordan, 86, of Chippewa Township died March 7, 2010, in Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born June 14, 1923, in Hilliards, Pa., he was a son of the late Michael and Susan Burger Jordan.
He was a veteran of the Army and served during World War II.
He retired from Westinghouse after more than 20 years of service.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, David C. and Pam Jordan of Chippewa Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Eileen R. Jordan and Richard Lunn of Enon Valley; a brother, Fred Jordon of Mercer; two sisters, Kathryn Booze of Chippewa Township and Anne Lakins of Asheville, N.C.; three grandchildren, Mark David, Stephanie Michelle and Kevin Michael Jordan, all of Chippewa Township; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes M. Boyce Jordan on July 10, 1991; three brothers, Mike, John and Andrew Jordon; and three sisters, Sue Zirot, Mary Harpar and Julia Jordan.
Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Lutton Chippewa Funeral Home, 117 Blackhawk Road, where a blessing service will be conducted Thursday at noon with the Rev. James Farnan officiating.
Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum, Daugherty Township.
The Veterans Honor Guard will meet at the cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Thursday to present full military honors.
