Frank Querriera, 82

Frank QuerrieraFrank Querriera, 82, of 201 N. Vine St. passed away the afternoon of March 8, 2010, in Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born March 22, 1927, in New Castle, a son of the late Joseph and Rose Pallota Querriera.
He was married for 57 years to the former Joan Benninghoff. She survives.
Mr. Querriera retired from Republic Steel, where he worked as an electrician.
He was an Army veteran.
He was a member of St. Vitus Church and of S.O.A.R. Union 1331 of Youngstown.
Frank was an avid gardener, hunter and enjoyed traveling.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Linda Schultz of Alexandria, Va., and Brenda Bulnes and her husband, Alex, of Herndon, Va.; two brothers, William Querriera of New Castle and James Querriera of Covina, Calif.; and one sister, Josephine DeMatteis of New Castle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Cioffi, Ann CeFalo and Roseann McCree; and a brother, Frank Querriera.
Visitation will be tomorrrow from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday for St. Vitus Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. The Rev. Sean Francis will officiate.
Entombment will be in Parkside Cemetery Mausoleum.
Military rites will be performed by the New Castle Area Veterans Honor Guard.
