Anne E. Rossano, 86

Anne E. Rossano, 86, passed away the morning of March 9, 2010, in Golden Hill Nursing Home.
She was born March 14, 1923, in New Castle and was a daughter of the late Ferdinand and Pasqualina Marconi Turco.
She married John Rossano on June 20, 1953. He preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1984.
Mrs. Rossano was a homemaker. In earlier years she worked for Shenango China and Johnson Bronze.
She enjoyed bowling, reading and doing crossword puzzles.
She was a member of St. Vitus Church and its Christian Mothers.
Anne is survived by two sons, Louis Rossano of New Castle, and Fred Rossano and his wife, Melissa, of Martins Ferry, Ohio; two grandchildren, Justin and Jonathan; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Stephanie Scarnati and Josephine Marino; and two brothers, Ralph Turco and Fred Turco.
Visitation will be tomorrow from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Friday for St. Vitus Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. The Rev. John Petrarulo will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
