Dolores M DeSalvo, 77
Dolores M. DeSalvo, 77, of 1008 Beckford St. died the morning of March 12, 2010, in St. Elizabeth Health Center, Boardman, Ohio.
Born Feb. 2, 1933, in New Castle, Dolores was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Burda Chabak.
She was married to Donald V. DeSalvo for 53 years. He preceded her in death April 4, 2009.
Dolores was Roman Catholic and a member of St. Vitus Church.
She was a loving homemaker for her husband and children. Dolores enjoyed going shopping and watching her soap operas. She loved being with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include three children and a son-in-law, Cindy A. Monaco of New Castle, Michael J. “Fuzzy” DeSalvo of New Castle and Kathy A. Villani and her husband, Andrew, of New Castle; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Ann Shevitz of New Castle, Margaret Karnis of Akron, Ohio, and Mary Sisco and her husband, Stanley, of New Castle; a sister-in-law, Isabelle Pascarella of Hubbard, Ohio; and five grandchildren, Rick Hvizdak Jr., Dustin Hvizdak, Andrew Villani III, Lucas Villani and Gabrielle Monaco.
In addition to her parents and husband, Donald, she was preceded in death by one sister, Vera Occhibone.
Visitation for family and friends will be 4 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 S. Mill St.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Monday for St. Vitus Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father John Petrarulo, pastor of St. Vitus Church, will officiate. Burial and committal service will take place at St. Vitus Cemetery.

Dear Cindy and Children, We are so sorry to hear of your mother's promotion but share your sorrow. Even though we know God's timing is always perfect it is very painful to realize we will never be a daughter again. However, we both know of the comfort that comes from the Lord and Jack and I are praying that for you on Monday.
