Janet M. Ramsey, 86

Janet M. Ramsey, 86, of Cambridge Street, Neshannock Township, died July 22, 2010, at Jameson Hospital.
She was born Nov. 21, 1923, in Franklin, a daughter of the late Oliver and Harriet Perrine Swogger.
She was married to Harold P. Ramsey. He died May 16, 1976.
Mrs. Ramsey was an aide in the operating room at Jameson Hospital for many years.
She enjoyed doing crossword and word search puzzles.
She is survived by one niece, Audreen Gwin and husband Norman of Ohio, and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Swogger and James Swogger, and one sister, Gertrude Swogger Yoder.
A services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel of the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave. The Rev. William McGary and the Rev. Don Ault will officiate.
Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the City Rescue Mission or the Lawrence County Humane Society.
